Today I officially became a part of the GeekDad team over at Wired. This gives me the opportunity to flesh out the geek side of my garden geek nature. Check out my first post on using physics to snap off the woody end of an asparagus stem while keeping as much of the tender part as possible. I will still keep posting here so this blog isn't going anywhere.

  1. Congrats! I follow both this blog and GeekDad. It would be great to have your GeekDad posts at least referenced here - there is a lot of traffic on GeekDad and it can be hard to keep up.

  2. Love your approach with enough science mixed with common sense without all the blaa, blaa, BUY THIS to get the details.... but where did you go?

    1. Thanks! I am still here. A job change, two moves, and a divorce have kept me a bit otherwise occupied. I have also been delving quite deeply into aquaponics. I've started writing a few posts on that. Perhaps it is time to get those polished off and posted. Thanks for the kick in the rump. It is good to hear people are still reading this.
